[H]OUSE: SPOILER! Twenty Vicodin - Sneak Peek Transcript
Dr. Adams: 99.9 [temperature]. I’m going to start him on ceftriaxone.
Second Doctor: Good catch, I might have missed that.
Dr. Adams: Excuse me, you just missed that.
House: It’s not gonorrhoea.
Dr. Adams: I didn’t say it was.
House: Not out loud, but you were figuring that joint pain, plus fever, plus a low lifestyle equals a ceftriaxone prescription.
Patient: So you saying I got the clap. I’ve only been in here one week, my girlfriend is clean…
House: Forget it. It just irritates me to hear a misdiagnosis, especially when it’s Lupus; which this is. Bye.
Dr. Adams: How do you know about ceftriaxone?
Second Doctor: House used to be a doctor.
House: Elegant shock is elitist and offensive, doctors can be degenerates. There is subtle eyebrow loss.
Dr. Adams: There is no dispoint or melar rash on his face.
House: Which would be dispositive if he was just a giant head.
Second Doctor: He’s got a point.
Dr. Adams: There is no reason to search for a bodily rash since Lupus doesn’t usually present that way.
House: Usually?! Well I guess that’s good enough for prison work….You don’t write people up for mouthing off do you?
Dr. Adams: Not usually.
*I could only figure out the medical terms phonetically so I apologise if any are wrong.
